Job description

The Rigger will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and inspection of telecommunication equipment on site and at towers. The role requires working closely with internal teams, network engineers, and external vendors to ensure network infrastructure meets quality and safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and commission telecommunication equipment on site and at tower locations
• Follow instructions from Team Leader (TL) or Project Manager (PM) to complete assigned tasks
• Conduct site installations as directed by the supervisor while ensuring high‑quality work
• Maintain site cleanliness and adhere to safety regulations at all times
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• Minimum PMR; relevant experience as a telco rigger/installer required
• Valid CIDB, WAH, and NIOSH certifications (climbing mandatory; certifications will be renewed if expired)
• Familiarity with telecommunication equipment installation and commissioning
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions
• Willingness to travel outstation and work overtime as required
• Team‑oriented with good communication skills; must speak Bahasa Malaysia and understand TL/PM instructions
• Contract basis: 3–6 months initially, renewable based on performance and project requirements
