The Retail Specialist serves as the second-in-command at the CD Store, driving operational excellence to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role oversees store performance by monitoring staff achievements in sales, service, customer experience, and compliance, while ensuring overall sales targets are met through effective execution of retail store activities.
Oversee store performance by monitoring staff achievements in sales, service, customer experience, and compliance.
Drive overall sales performance through execution of retail sales activities, including in-store and roadshow initiatives, while actively contributing to sales.
Promote operational excellence by creating a seamless customer journey that ensures fast, effective resolutions and encourages self-service.
Ensure smooth store operations, managing cash, inventory, store layout, POSM, displays, and in-store merchandising.
Support staff growth and development by maintaining high operational and performance standards.
Maintain quality and compliance with all policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Prepare and collate store reports on both ad-hoc and periodic basis.
Provide continuous feedback and improvement suggestions to the Retail Leader to enhance retail operations standards.
Act as a role model and change agent, fostering and promoting CD Retail Culture.
Must have passed SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia).
Proven experience in retail operations, sales, or customer service.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve performance targets.
Solid understanding of operational processes, including cash handling, inventory, merchandising, and store compliance.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to ensure smooth store operations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Ability to analyze performance data and prepare reports for management review.
Proactive, adaptable, and able to act as a role model to promote company culture.
