Job summary

A leading convenience store brand in Malaysia is looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage non-trade purchasing and support cross-department procurement. Responsibilities include vendor management, procurement documentation, and evaluating supplier performance. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3–5 years of experience in procurement, particularly in retail or FMCG environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in retail or FMCG environments.
• Strong experience in RFQ/RFP processes and procurement best practices.
• Excellent communication skills to work with multiple Heads of Departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage all non-trade purchasing activities across the retail chain.
• Collaborate with Heads of Departments to identify purchasing needs.
• Build and maintain a strong supplier ecosystem across various categories.
• Prepare, issue, and evaluate RFQs/RFPs for key procurement categories.
• Assist in evaluating outsourced service providers to ensure performance.
