Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Manager to oversee daily store operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales performance. As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team, managing inventory, ensuring that the store provides an exceptional shopping experience, recruiting and hiring sales associates, and overseeing operations across multiple retail outlets. Additionally, you will report key store metrics and performance to higher management on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Staff Management:

  • Supervise, train, and motivate a team of sales associates to meet store goals.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet business needs.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale.
  • Recruit and hire sales associates, ensuring alignment with company culture and customer service standards.

Overseeing Multiple Retail Outlets:

  • Oversee operations of additional retail outlets, ensuring consistency in store operations, customer service standards, and visual merchandising.
  • Regularly visit other outlets to ensure all locations are operating effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide guidance and support to store managers or staff at multiple locations, addressing any operational or personnel issues as needed.

Customer Service & Sales:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, implementing strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Promote sales initiatives and product promotions to increase store revenue.

Inventory & Merchandising:

  • Manage inventory levels and reorder stock as necessary to avoid stockouts.
  • Oversee product display, ensuring the store is visually appealing and products are displayed according to brand standards.
  • Perform regular stock checks and implement loss prevention measures to reduce shrinkage.

Operations & Reporting:

  • Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Prepare and analyze sales and performance reports, making data-driven decisions to improve store operations.
  • Ensure all store policies and procedures are followed, including cash handling and security protocols.
  • Report to higher management on a monthly basis, providing detailed updates on sales performance, operational issues, customer feedback, and any challenges or successes across all outlets.

Budget & Financial Management:

  • Assist in developing and managing the store's budget, ensuring profitability.
  • Monitor and control operating costs to meet financial goals.
