Job description
Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager (Based in Sungai Long, Kajang)

We are representing a well-established client in the F&B industry located in Sungai Long. Due to their ongoing expansion, they are looking to hire Restaurant Managers, Assistant Managers, and Supervisors.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Restaurant, working hand-in-hand with the Chef.
  • Ensure that the restaurant delivers convivial hospitality, ensuring internal quality standards and procedures are being understood and practiced.
  • Work alongside the team to drive continuous improvements to the restaurant to achieve operational excellence.
  • Train and develop team members.
  • Ownership of customer’s dining experience.
  • Communicate and manage customer’s feedback.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties to ensure smooth running of operations.
  • Pro-active in identifying operational pain points and offering solutions for troubleshooting.
  • Report the Financials & Operations on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ensure work relationships are maintained in a professional and cordial manner across the respective departments.
  • Any other duties that the Superior deems necessary.
Requirements
  • Proven at least 2-4 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations.
  • Good leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and develop staff.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify operational challenges and implement solutions.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to handle customer feedback and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Additional Info
  • Working Days: 6 days rotation basis
  • Working time: 2 shifts (10am-2.30pm & 6pm-10.30pm)
