Job summary

A medical clinic in Penang is seeking a qualified doctor to provide medical consultations and perform general practice procedures. Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Professional Degree in Medicine (MBBS/MD).

• At least 4 years of working experience in a related field.
• Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
• Qualified as a Fully Registered Doctor in Malaysia.
• Completed compulsory government service.

Responsibilities

Able to provide medical consultation and interpret health screening reports and diagnostic test results.

• Perform general practice medical procedures such as triage, dressing, blood taking, administration of IM & IV medications, IV cannulation, and basic resuscitation.
• Keep up-to-date with current medical developments and management.
• Travel within the state for work purposes.
• Maintain good teamwork with colleagues & staff.

Advantageous Qualifications

• Able to provide health talks.
• Able to lead a medical team for on-site duties.
• Obtained GP related training/credentials/Postgraduate qualifications.
• Able to perform elective procedures such as intraarticular injections, wound care, IUCD insertion/removal, etc.

• Basic salary commensurate with experience and qualification, starting from RM 8,000 to RM 15,000.
