Responsibilities
  • Conduct analysis of macro economy, financial markets, equities, fixed income and unit trusts in order to generate in-house research views.
  • Perform sourcing and due diligence for the onboarding of quality investment products for distribution to end clients.
  • Convert in-house research views into actionable outcomes such as suitable investment recommendations or portfolio adjustments.
  • Articulate analysis, reviews and recommendations via written content such as research reports or articles as well as presentations to the frontline team or public.
  • Provide support to the frontline team on financial market or product related matters.
Requirements
  • A good degree in Economic/ Finance/ Mathematics or related discipline with less than 2 years of related working experience. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • Keen interest in financial markets, investments and economics. Candidate with experience dealing with stocks, bonds, unit trusts or other investment products will have an added advantage.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge. Advanced Excel skills will have an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical ability with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑motivated individual with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Able to work independently as well as be a team player.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit a written essay prior to first interview.
