Job summary

A remote interpreting service provider is seeking an experienced interpreter to facilitate communication between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of interpreting experience, relevant certification, and strong interpersonal skills. This role requires excellent fluency in both English and the target language, along with a suitable home setup for remote work.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum of interpreting experience preferable OPI/VRI.
• Knowledgeable command of Medical, Educational, and social services terminology.
• Demonstrate fluency in English and the target language.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interprets messages between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers.
• Adheres to National Standards of Practice for Interpreters.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
