Job summary

A leading multinational corporation is seeking experienced sales managers to expand their presence in the Southeast Asia region. This role involves building strong relationships with key customers, developing long-term business plans, and conducting market research. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in sales or account management in mining or manufacturing, alongside excellent communication skills. A Bachelor's degree and willingness to travel across Southeast Asia are required.

Job description

Our client is a well-known multinational that specializes in manufacturing heavy equipment for industries such as mining, rock excavation, metal-cutting, machining, and materials processing. Due to team expansion, they are seeking experienced sales managers to expand their presence in the Southeast Asia region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, business partners, and decision-makers.
  • Develop a business plan to long term growth of accounts across the assigned region.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitive landscape.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure profitability.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and market insights.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development, ideally within mining, manufacturing, or a related heavy industries.
  • Proven experience in managing strategic customer accounts, preferably in mining, manufacturing, or a related industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with fluency in English (spoken and written); additional SEA regional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia as needed.
