Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region; being based in Kelantan is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, appoint, and manage third-party distributors for market penetration.
  • Develop and execute tailored sales plans for Modern Trade and General Trade.
  • Achieve regional volume and value targets by monitoring distributor KPIs and stock levels.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase brand footprint in underserved areas.
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute in-store activations and seasonal campaigns.
  • Provide regular market intelligence and performance updates to the Head of Sales.

About the Job

This role reports directly to the Head of Sales. The Regional Sales Manager will be the primary architect of our growth strategy across the East Coast region. You will be responsible for overseeing the distribution network, ensuring our products are effectively placed and promoted within both General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels. This is a pivotal role that bridges high-level strategy with hands‑on distributor management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Distributor Management: Identify, appoint, and manage third‑party distributors to ensure maximum market penetration and service levels across the East Coast.
  • Channel Strategy: Develop and execute tailored sales plans for Modern Trade (supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores) and General Trade (traditional retail, local grocers).
  • Sales Performance: Achieve regional volume and value targets by monitoring distributor KPIs, stock levels, and secondary sales data.
  • Market Expansion: Proactively identify "white space" opportunities to increase the brand's footprint in underserved areas.
  • Trade Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute in-store activations, POSM placement, and seasonal promotional campaigns.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Provide regular market intelligence and performance updates directly to the Head of Sales.
