The Regional Sales Manager - Concrete is responsible for driving commercial growth, expanding market presence, and leading sales strategies for concrete-related solutions across Southeast Asia.
This role requires a strong technical understanding of concrete products and applications,
combined with proven commercial acumen in managing distributors, contractors, and key project stakeholders. The position is based in Malaysia and includes frequent travel across SEA markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and market-share targets.
- Identify and prioritize key markets within Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, etc.).
- Analyze competitor activities and market trends to refine positioning and pricing strategies.
2. Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, ready-mix producers, contractors, and project owners.
- Identify new business opportunities, product applications, and pipelines across infrastructure, commercial, and industrial sectors.
- Support bid management, tender submissions, and project-specific solution selling.
3. Key Account Management
- Manage and grow strategic accounts within the region by ensuring high customer satisfaction and consistent engagement.
- Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations, and technical discussions.
- Resolve customer issues effectively in partnership with technical and operational teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of sales experience in the concrete, building materials, admixtures, or construction-related industry.
- Strong knowledge of concrete technologies, construction practices, and project workflows.
- Proven regional experience in Southeast Asia is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving commercial growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
