We are searching for a skilled professional to join our InTest team as a Regional Sales Manager that reports directly to Director of Sales. This is a full time position located in Malaysia and is fully remote.

JOB SUMMARY

This critical role is responsible for driving EMS product sales and service within the assigned territory. This role focuses on developing and managing sales channels and partners, generating new business, and nurturing strong supplier-customer relationships. Success in this position requires proactive relationship-building, deep product knowledge, competitive analysis, and a consistently professional approach to daily activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position requires extensive travel, 30-50%, within the territory both domestic and international
  • Proactively conduct sales visits to identify and secure new business opportunities, resulting in new orders.
  • Achieve sales targets and fulfill management objectives for the territory.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to expand business with existing customers and penetrate new markets. Present strategies to the Director of Business Development, VP of Sales, and Division President for review and approval.
  • Generate leads with prospective customers not currently engaged with InTest.
  • Prepare and coordinate weekly activity and sales reports.
  • Collaborate with the sales administration team to manage quoting activities using CRM tools, ensuring accurate customer quotes and forecast funnel.
  • Prepare sales and forecast reports detailing expected sales volume and potential revenue by year and fiscal quarter, providing both short- and long-term business outlooks.
  • Maintain a structured and organized approach to all aspects of territory management.
  • Direct staffing, training and performance evaluations for field service support staff within the territory.
  • Work closely with applications and engineering teams to define customer product and timing requirements.
  • Maintain direct sales responsibilities for the territory, focusing on key customers and strategic relationships.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products.
  • Coordinate with outside sales representatives to establish sales quotas and goals, supporting the achievement of targeted revenue objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years’ field experience in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or ATE consumable sales (e.g., PCB hardware, probe cards, test sockets, probe card cleaning mediums, or related semiconductor test equipment).
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals within the electronic test capital equipment market.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Interest and ability in supervising and guiding others.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CAD drawings.
  • Ability to interpret electrical interfacing and mechanical drawings.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for interacting with personnel at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced, and constantly changing environment.
