Job summary

A leading Malaysian company is seeking an experienced accountant to manage financial operations. The role requires proficiency in Mandarin and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, overseeing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal abilities are essential for this position, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the accounting field.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with regional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the accurate and timely preparation of invoices and financial documents.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial transactions and record payments accurately.
  • Perform comprehensive reconciliation of accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare financial reports.
  • Handle client-facing financial matters and maintain a rigorous filing system.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance.
