A leading recruitment agency in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia is seeking a skilled HR Recruiter to manage recruitment processes. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and maintaining candidate records. A BSc in HR or a related field is required along with strong communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be familiar with modern sourcing techniques and assessment tools.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives.
  • Source candidates using databases and social media.
  • Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters.
  • Use recruiting tools to assess candidates' skills.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews at preliminary stage.
  • Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions.
  • Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires.
  • Stay up to date with current recruiting methods.
  • Attend job fairs and career events.

Skills

Excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines
Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices
Ability to use psychometric tests and other assessment tools
Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn

Education

  • Coordinate and conduct phone, Skype, Microsoft Teams and/or in-person interviews at preliminary stage
  • Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions
  • Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
  • Stay up to date with current recruiting methods
  • Attend job fairs and career events

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • BSc degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field
