Job summary

A construction engineering firm in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Surveyor to provide accurate surveying support for railway construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Geomatics, Land Surveying, or Civil Engineering, along with 3-5 years of experience in land surveying. You will conduct surveys, manage equipment, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure project compliance. Proficiency with Total Station, GPS, and AutoCAD is expected. This role requires good communication skills and the ability to work outdoors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in railway or infrastructure.
  • Experience with Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and surveying instruments.
  • Familiarity with railway alignment, track geometry, and earthwork surveying.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct topographic and as-built surveys for railway track and infrastructure.
  • Perform accurate settings for construction activities.
  • Collect, process, and maintain survey data.
  • Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to verify alignment and dimensions.
  • Prepare and maintain survey reports and records.
  • Manage and maintain surveying equipment.
