Job summary

A leading ceramic manufacturer in Kluang, Malaysia, is looking for a qualified candidate to oversee QAS operations and ensure compliance with quality standards. Responsibilities include troubleshooting raw material issues, managing technician tasks, and conducting audits. Candidates should possess a degree in Material Technology, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering and preferably have hands-on experience in the ceramic industry. The role offers the opportunity to improve QAS programs and contribute to the safety and cleanliness of the workplace.

Qualifications

• Degree in Material Technology, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Fresh graduates or those experienced in related fields are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 lab system is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for QAS operation in CRC.
• Ensure compliance of raw materials and stockpile.
• Troubleshoot problems related to raw materials.
• Review potential new materials or suppliers.
• Guide and develop technicians, manage their tasks.

Job description

To be responsible for QAS operation in CRC.

To be responsible for stockpile compliance and quality compliance of raw materials.

To work closely with technical department to troubleshoot problems which are related to raw materials.

To review and develop any potential new raw materials or supplier.

To ensure continuous improvement of QAS Programme and Raw Material Department.

To report regularly to the supervisor on progress of work.

To work to achieve the desire targeted point of 5S.

As a compliance committee to implement, review and update the risk management of Anti-Bribery and Corruption for Raw Material Department.

Participate in internal, external audits regulatory inspection.

To maintain the cleanliness and the safety at the workplace.

Guide and develop Technician.

Arrange and manage jobs given to technicians in Technical division.

Provide technical guidance to technicians.

5S management

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Material Technology/ Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduate or experienced in ceramic industry or related research institution.
• Well versed in ISO 17025 lab system.
• Knowledgeable in Ceramic knowledge.
• Knowledgeable in Computer Skills
