A leading clean air solutions company in Malaysia is seeking a Product Design Engineer. You will be responsible for product design and development, ensuring compliance with specifications and market needs. Candidates should possess a relevant Bachelor's degree along with 1-2 years of experience, or be fresh graduates. Familiarity with design software like Autocad and Solidworks is essential. This role offers a chance to contribute to meaningful clean air solutions.
American Air Filter Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. – Petaling
The ideal candidate will be responsible to ensure timely execution of product design by undertaking effective planning, provision of resources and compliance monitoring based on product requirement & product launching preparation.
To gather data, analyze & firm up on product requirement.
To handle new product design and development and support sales on customized design.
To convey technical information on customer requirement from sales and production.
To gather product pre‑requisite such as certification, laws, regulations & compliance.
To gather data post launching to analyze on market feedback for further product development / improvement.
To gather all product info, features, specification & compilation for product launching preparation.
To work closely with S&P and Marketing for product launching.
To work closely with Marketing for marketing collateral & product info.
To perform technical analysis, troubleshooting and improvement activities on design requirement.
Other assigned duties by superior / management from time to time.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Chemical / Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
At least 1 - 2 years’ working experience in relevant field (product planning & launching) or experience in Air Filtration Equipment and AHU or HVAC. However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiar with Autocad, Solidworks & Inventor.
Possess offline marketing / content writing is an added advantage.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Demonstrate good interpersonal & communication skills.
Strong analysis, planning, Initiative and able to work independently.
Systematic & positive problem‑solving approach.
