Job summary

A multi-disciplinary water engineering contractor is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The ideal candidate should possess a tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering and have 2-3 years of relevant experience in the water engineering sector. Responsibilities include procurement support, contract administration, and the evaluation of tender documents. Candidates must be proficient in English and BM, with additional proficiency in Chinese/Mandarin being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Malaysian nationality, male or female.
• At least 2-3 years in similar role in water engineering/water utility sector.

Responsibilities

• Assist in procurement, cost and contract administration support.
• Coordinate full range of quantity surveying activities, including estimation.
• Responsible for pre and post contract administration and tender process.
• Take-off quantity and claim preparation; monitor project site valuation and progress.
• Evaluate tender documents and prepare reports for presentation.

Education
