Job summary

A construction company in Sungai Buloh is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to assist with tender preparations, manage post-contract activities, and handle cost estimations. Ideal candidates should have a Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent and knowledge in Steel Structure. The role requires teamwork as well as the ability to work independently. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in tender preparation, quantity measurement, and cost estimation.
• Perform post-contract activities, including monitoring progress claims.
• Attend to all contractual matters and claims for contracts.
• Work with purchasing department on procurement activities.
• Perform progress contract claims and cost comparisons.

Job description

To assist in tender preparation, quantity measurement, cost estimation, planning of tender strategy.

To perform Post contract activities including monitoring and preparation of progress claims, VO, final account, evaluation of contract works, drafting of correspondences.

Attending to all contractual matters and claims for main contract and sub-contract.

Work together with Purchasing department for planning and execution of procurement activities including sub-contract.

To perform progress contract claims, billings and cost control or cost comparison from time to time.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent.

Candidates with Steel Structure knowledge will be considered
