Key Responsibilities

Teamwork & Communication

Work as a committed team player and support project delivery.

Communicate and convey ideas effectively to colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.

Assist your superintendent during the tender stage and throughout project execution.

Be based full-time on construction sites when required.

Specifications & Measurement

Study project specifications prior to commencement.

Perform quantity take-off for each project element.

Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, and liaise with the procurement department.

Assist the site team with technical clarifications and material submissions.

Support Senior QS in preparing monthly progress claims, including on-site measurements and progress documentation.

Conduct site walks with client’s QS to validate monthly claims.

Attend project progress meetings.

Verify subcontractor claims together with the site team.

Communicate effectively with client’s QS to resolve discrepancies.

Undertake other QS tasks and duties as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying (fresh graduates are welcome).

Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia (elementary level acceptable). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Golden Cubicost TAS & TRB.

Possess own transport and willingness to travel to sites.
