Glory Blitz Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of construction contracts and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. What you'll be doing

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects

Measure and value construction work, including the preparation of interim and final accounts

Negotiate and manage construction contracts, subcontracts, and variations

Prepare and analyse progress reports, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver successful projects

Provide expert advice and guidance to the team on contractual and commercial matters

What we're looking for

Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry

Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and construction-related tools

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
