Your Role

Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented

The Quality Professional supports the Project Delivery Team in all aspects of Quality management and reporting. This role helps enable quality initiatives across Siemens project phases and works closely with the Project Management team to address non-conformances in delivery and drive positive project outcomes. You will be an integral member of the project core team, with a strong focus on quality management across projects and sites.

In this role, you will have to:

  • Support compliance with Malaysian regulations, client requirements, and authority standards for quality in both bid and project phases, including site activities.
  • Report overall quality performance for assigned projects and monitor quality-related KPIs.
  • Raise corrective action requests for breaches of quality regulations or system requirements.
  • Assist in conducting internal, contractor, and supplier audits periodically for qualification and ongoing evaluations.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders; conduct regular audits to ensure quality throughout all project phases.
  • Assist in planning quality management initiatives to employees, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Support the delivery of quality-related trainings for staff when required.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the Quality Management System through active participation in the quality committee and serve as a strong promoter of the system.
  • Establish and maintain a good network of resources working with teams in Malaysia and in the Asia Pacific Region.
Your Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline relevant to Quality.
  • 2–3 years of experience supporting quality and risk management in rail or similar industries.
  • Familiar with ISO/TS29001, ISO14001 & ISO45001, IRIS, Quality Management System and other regulatory requirements.
  • Qualified/ trained Lead Auditor for ISO 9001/ ISO14001/ ISO45001 is advantageous.
  • Ability to support concurrent bids and portfolio of projects.
  • Good IT Skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset, with a consistent “Safety First, Quality Always” mindset.
