Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with quality measuring tools.

Our client is a leading automotive manufacturer, currently seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the overall quality function, ensuring that all products, processes, systems, and teams operate in full compliance with both customer requirements and international automotive standards.

Responsibility :
  • Lead and manage the overall Quality function, including PQE, CQE, SQE, Incoming Inspection, and System Quality teams.
  • Define and implement quality strategies aligned with plant operations and corporate objectives.
  • Ensure full compliance with automotive quality standards, including IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
  • Manage customer complaints and drive timely 8D and 5-Why root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead all product qualification activities, including APQP planning, PPAP submissions, validation, and customer quality approvals.
  • Oversee SQE activities, including supplier evaluation, qualification, and performance monitoring.
  • Drive supplier improvement programs and ensure all non-conformities are closed with effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Lead internal audit programs and coordinate all external audits, including IATF, customer, and OEM audits.
  • Monitor and analyze key quality KPIs including PPM, FPY, NPI performance, warranty returns, and customer scorecards.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects using quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, DOE, and Lean Six Sigma.
  • Analyze 4M and process changes to ensure product quality, process capability, and operational stability.
Qualification :
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Quality Management, or related engineering field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in automotive quality, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D methodology.
  • Hands‑on experience with quality measuring tools (CMM, calipers, micrometers, gauges).
