Job summary

A wire harness manufacturing company based in Rawang, Selangor is seeking a Quality Management Representative. The ideal candidate will implement and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with IATF 16949 and other standards. Responsibilities include leading audits, managing calibration programs, and supervising lab operations. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, have at least 2 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of IATF 16949. Effective communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Strong knowledge in IATF 16949:2016 requirements and certified lead auditor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the Quality Management Representative for the company regarding QMS.

• Lead and coordinate internal, external, and customer audits.
• Manage the calibration program for all measurement equipment.
• Supervise quality lab operations.

Job description

Role Overview

Shuangfei Wire Harness Sdn Bhd – Rawang, Selangor

Responsibilities

1. Be the Quality Management Representative for the company regarding QMS
2. Responsible to implement and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with IATF 16949 and other standards including regulatory requirements.
3. Implement all policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as relevant and required by the QMS.
4. Review and write procedures and processes to support QMS development, and analyze current and future procedural needs.
5. Lead and coordinate internal, external, and customer audits, ensuring timely closure of findings.
6. To coordinate and prepare the Management Review Meeting and report KPI across all departments accordingly to schedule.
7. Manage the calibration program for all measurement equipment, including scheduling, execution, and documentation of calibration activities in compliance with industry standards and internal procedures.
8. Supervise quality lab operations, including equipment maintenance, test procedures, and sample management.
9. Ensure lab safety compliance and adherence to testing procedures.
10. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Quality Manager from time to time.

Authority

1. Recommend for necessary actions to be taken for areas not meeting the KPI
2. Advise on the internal management processes requirement

Competency

1. Possess at least bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
2. At least 2year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
3. Strong knowledge in IATF 16949:2016 requirements and certified lead auditor is preferred
4. Knowledge of QMS including audit, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
5. Competency in 5 core tools (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP)
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills - Bahasa Malaysia & English
