Job description

Inspect the quality of finished goods and ensure all products comply with the required standards and specifications.

Provide feedback to the Production Department and Finished Goods Department regarding any defects detected.

Reject defective bottles at the lehr area.

Liaise with the supervisor and/or Shift Manager to determine the acceptance of produced items.

Issue Yellow/Red memos to the relevant departments regarding bottle defects.

Prepare hourly quality reports and perform sampling at the end of the lehr.

Provide feedback to the Quality Control Supervisor on major and critical defects found during sampling.

Consult with the Quality Control Foreman regarding production record of standard packaging, quality standards, and related matters.

Ensure gauges/testing tools are used correctly at all times.

Maintain cleanliness and ensure the proper arrangement of finished goods during production.

Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all rules and regulations are followed at all times.

What we're looking for

SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in any related field.

Relevant experience in a quality assurance or control role within the manufacturing industry

Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify even the smallest defects

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to investigate and address quality concerns

Proficient in using quality control tools and equipment

Good communication skills to liaise with production teams and provide clear feedback

Commitment to upholding high quality standards and a passion for continuous improvement
