George Kent (Malaysia) Berhad is seeking a full-time Quality Engineer to join our team in Puchong, Selangor. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our manufacturing and logistics operations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of our growing business.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures to identify and address potential issues during manufacturing

Conducting regular inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications

Analysing quality data and providing recommendations for process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency

Collaborating with quality teams to identify and resolve quality-related problems in a timely manner

Maintaining detailed documentation and records of quality assurance activities

Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a quality engineering or quality assurance role, preferably within the manufacturing industry

Strong understanding of quality control principles, statistical process control, and relevant quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001)

Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills

Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues

Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
