Job summary

A medical device company in Malaysia is looking for a Quality Control Inspector. This role involves conducting product inspections and submitting detailed inspection reports. Job Summary:

This position is responsible for product inspection and submitting inspection result, deal with it when there is any finding, and other tasks that line manager arranged.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-shipment inspection by preparing the inspection procedure and documents according to Medline request and schedule, inspect products and conclude inspection result, submit inspection report, and share with relevant person in time.
  • Provide clear and detailed information and evidence to corporate div QA and stakeholders for lot rejection/questions within same day of inspection.
  • Identify risks related to quality discrepancies and provide suggestions to supervisor or manager in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide constructive suggestion or bring the error of the procedure/products to divisional QA/PM to optimize the inspection process and improve the efficiency.
  • Follow company policy and requirement to complete the related documents such as expense, performance review etc. in timely manner.
  • Be flexible to accept the work arrangement change when needed.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by supervisor or manager in timely manner.
  • Frequent travel required.
Qualifications:
  • Education level: College degree or above.
  • Working experience: 1 years or above quality control experience with quality sense. Medical device industry experience is a plus.
  • Good communication, personality and team spirits.
  • Detail orientated and honesty.
  • Strong willing to learn new knowledge and self-leaning skills.
  • Flexibility to frequent travel.
  • Quality measuring tools usage, knowledge of sampling plan is a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS office, like outlook, excel, word etc.
  • Good English ability for reading and writing required.
