Job summary

A leading automotive manufacturer is looking for a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the QC team at their new plant in Ulu Tiram. The successful candidate will have over 8 years of experience in quality control within the automotive or manufacturing sectors and at least 3 years in a supervisory role. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality policies, ensuring compliance with standards, and improving processes. This position offers a salary range between RM 4,500 - 7,500.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in quality control in automotive or manufacturing industry.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, ISO/IATF 16949 standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Control team across production lines.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QC policies, procedures, and inspection standards.
• Monitor production quality metrics and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
• Conduct internal audits and support external customer audits.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supplier Quality to improve processes and reduce defects.
• Provide leadership in achieving plant quality objectives and KPIs.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quality control in automotive or manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, ISO/IATF 16949 standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Salary Range: RM 4,500 - 7,500
