Job summary

A well-established manufacturing company in Batu Caves is seeking a Quality Control professional to manage QC systems, ensure product quality, and coordinate calibration activities. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Chemistry and be proficient in English, Malay, and Mandarin. Responsibilities include preparing QC reports, supporting audits, and training staff.   • Plan QC staff work schedules and provide training.
  • Prepare routine QC reports.
  • Support internal and external QMS & EMS audits.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by superiors.

Company Overview

We are representing a well-established manufacturing company that produces metal joining materials for various industrial sectors. The company operates a quality-driven production facility and is known for delivering reliable, high-performance products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all QC systems and procedures are effectively implemented.
  • Review and approve inspection documents and data sheet reports to ensure product quality meets required chemical composition standards.
  • Coordinate with external bodies for all calibration activities, including scheduling, conducting, reporting, and updating calibration records.
  • Manage ISO-related requirements under the Quality Management System (QMS) and participate in relevant monthly meetings (QMS, EMS, S&P).
  • Plan QC staff work schedules and provide training for both new and existing team members.
  • Prepare routine QC reports such as SPC charts, Monthly Cp Graphs, Finished Goods Summary Reports, GR&R, and other required documents.
  • Support internal and external QMS & EMS audits as well as customer audits, including preparing audit checklists.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by superiors.
Requirements
  • Degree in Chemistry or related field is preferred.
  • Proficient in English, Malay and Chinese (Mandarin)
Working hours and days

Mondays - Fridays (8:00am - 5:15pm); 1st week Saturday (8:00am - 3:30pm)
