Job summary

A leading food safety company in Malaysia seeks a Quality Assurance Officer to oversee sampling and inspection of materials and ensure compliance with food safety standards. The candidate will maintain documentation for ISO 22000 and halal requirements, prepare daily reports, and conduct internal audits. Training team members in inspection processes is also part of the role. Candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Monitoring sampling and inspection of in-coming materials, in-process materials, in-process products and finished products and ensures that these materials are in compliance with company requirements.
• Monitor laboratory tests.
• Monitor on-line process / packing activities.
• To maintain systems, documentation, implementation of ISO 22000, halal requirements and other may new food safety requirements.
• To ensure compliance to Food Act & Regulations.
• Prepares and maintains daily reports.
• Report all non-compliance to superior.
• To establish and maintain a documented quality system.
• To perform, managed and monitor internal quality audit activities in the company.
• Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
• Performs any other duties as specified by the superior.
• Following up with the appropriate channels when mistakes are found.
• Training other quality insurance members on all inspection processes.
• In charge of all products Hazard Analysis.
