Job summary

A precision engineering company in Johor is looking for a Quality Control specialist to manage Quality Control activities, assess products according to specifications, and assist in resolving quality issues. Candidates should have a diploma and at least 2 years of experience in the Quality/QC field. Proficiency in measurement equipment such as Calipers is essential. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on product quality and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Quality/QA/QC field.
• Experience in precision engineering company with understanding of components.
• Knowledge of basic use of measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Make decisions on Quality matters.
• Report Quality problems to relevant personnel.
• Support QA in resolving customer complaints.

Job description

Available to work rotating shifts.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle Quality Control activities
• Prepare and inspect In-coming, In-process and Out-going products in accordance with engineering drawings
• Prepare and handle In-coming, In-process and Out-going reports and documents
• Decide and make judgement or decision on Quality matters (Non-conformance/OOS/Cosmetic)
• Report Quality problem/incident to the respective Quality Engineer/Manager
• Handle supplier/in-house/customer NCMF
• Provide suggestions/solutions for Quality related issues
• Assist and support QA in resolving customer complaints
• Prepare and provide continuous improvement plans for Quality Department

Job Requirements

• Diploma in any field
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Quality/QA/QC field
• Knowledge of basic use of measurement equipment such as Caliper, TMS, PP to check finished products
• Experience in precision engineering company with understanding of components
