Overview

Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections for sheet metal and CNC parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections for sheet metal and CNC parts.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using measuring equipment such as CMM, VMM, digital calipers, height gauges, micrometers, etc.
• Interpret and understand mechanical/engineering drawings to identify inspection requirements.
• Develop and run CMM programs using PC-DMIS software.
• Monitor nearly all manufactured products to ensure that they meet specified standards.
• Inspection includes but is not limited to: Raw materials, components, fabricated/manufactured parts & assemblies.
• Measures raw materials /components and/or assemblies.
• Generates detail inspection and nonconformance reports as necessary.
• Prepare and key in inspection reports accurately and on time.
• Ensure inspection activities comply with company quality standards and customer requirements.
