A manufacturing company in Kedah is seeking a QC Inspector to perform inspections on incoming materials and finished products. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 1-3 years of experience in quality inspection. Responsibilities include using measurement tools, maintaining quality records, and supporting quality audits. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
The QC Inspector is responsible for executing quality checks on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and customer requirements. This role plays a critical part in identifying and preventing quality issues on the shop floor.
Education: Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or equivalent technical field.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal or precision components.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Familiar with basic QC tools (check sheets, sampling plans, visual standards).
Experience in using standard inspection tools; CMM knowledge is an advantage.
Attention to detail, disciplined, and able to work independently or in a team.
