Proficient in using measurement tools: Vernier Caliper, L shape tools and etc.

Basic understanding of metallurgy or welding processes (for sheet metal / fabrication environment) is an advantages

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Detail-oriented, systematic and able to work independently.

Responsibility

Job Purpose

To ensure that all incoming materials, in-process parts and finished automotive components meet the required quality standards, customer specifications and regulatory compliance before release or delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection of metal, plastic or mechanical automotive parts.
  2. Measure and verify dimensions using instruments (vernier caliper, L shape ruler).
  3. Inspect weld quality, surface finishing, coating thickness, and assembly compliance.
  4. Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and document results.
  5. Maintain inspection reports, QC check sheets, NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and calibration records.
  6. Identify, segregate, label and quarantine defective parts or materials.
  7. Work closely with production and supplier to resolve quality issues.
  8. Support root cause analysis (RCA) using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram or PDCA.
  9. Ensure all processes comply with ISO 9001 standards and customer requirements.
  10. Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
