Job summary

A pharmaceutical company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure that all apparatus and end products are safe and free from contamination. The role involves routine analysis, stability testing, and the operation of HPLC and other laboratory instruments. Candidates with a minimum educational qualification of a Certificate or Diploma in Science or Pharmaceutical are encouraged to apply, including fresh graduates. The position requires working in shifts and performing overtime as needed.

Job description

To work closely with Microbiologist, Production, QC personnel and QA department to ensure all apparatus and end products are safe and free from any contamination.

Routine analysis and recording of raw material, intermediates and finished product.

Operation of High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and laboratory analytical instrument.

Carry out stability testing.

Carry out dissolution profile test and monitoring.

Carry out Analytical method validation.

Sampling, routine checking and recording of packaging material.

On line checking and recording of in-process granules and tablet

Checking and recording of in-process syrup, cream.

Checking and approval of packing process.

Carry out calibration/ performance verification of laboratory equipment/ Apparatus.

Quality Control check on raw material dispensing.

Ensure coding of labels and bar code labels are complete & accurate.

Preparation and recording of reagents and chemicals.

Perform analysis and support for working standard preparation.

Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of laboratory equipment and workplace.

Practice Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and laboratory safety.

Maintain QC document in laboratory to ensure up to date and accurate.

Update laboratory equipment log book / Quality Control (QC) record book and all other QC documents.
