Job description

We are seeking an experienced QAQC Manager to lead and manage Quality Assurance & Quality Control across our construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO standards, CIDB requirements, and statutory regulations, while driving continuous improvement and quality excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QAQC teams across multiple projects.
• Oversee preparation, implementation, and monitoring of PQPs and ITPs.
• Manage and continuously improve the Company’s QMS in line with ISO 9001.
• Lead internal audits and ensure readiness for ISO, CIDB, client, and authority audits.
• Ensure compliance with CIDB Act 520, OSHA 1994, EQA 1974, and relevant statutory requirements.
• Review and approve QAQC procedures, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Drive quality initiatives including QLASSIC KPI achievement, defect reduction, and client satisfaction.
• Ensure subcontractors and vendors comply with QAQC and ISO standards.
• Oversee NCR, CAPA management, testing, calibration, and as-built documentation for CPC & DLP.
• Represent the Company in meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities on quality matters.
• Mentor and develop QAQC team members to ensure competency and growth.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ QAQC experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial/leadership role.
• Mandatory:
  • CIDB Green/Yellow Card
  • QLASSIC assessment experience
• Preferred:
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification
  • BEM / IEM membership
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301, and CIDB QLASSIC.
• Proven experience managing audits, QMS, and multi-project QAQC teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital QAQC/document platforms (e.g. Aconex, Procore, PlanRadar, BIM).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel and work on construction sites as required.
