Job summary

Job description

Implement quality control processes or procedures.

Managing QC tools calibration and able to handle a simple measurement.

Acts on thr approved ITP for the project and follow up on the Inspection Requirements.

Have a sound knowledge of international Standards and codes relating to oil and gas industry, structure, pipelines, pressure vessels and process facilities e.g. ASME, AWS, API, ASTM, SSPC, BGAS, and NACE standard specifications.

Be able to review and comment inspection reports prepared by inspectors.

Be able to review and comment QC documents inclusive of inspection Workpack, NDT Procedure, Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Hydrotest Procedures.

Manage the day to day Project QA/QC Team activities and co-ordinate with relevant parties to ensure that the project Pre-Qualification are executed on schedule, in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and in accordance to project and client requirements.

Review project specifications with the Engineering team on the technical content/ appropriateness/ fit for purpose.
