Job summary

A leading food and beverage company in Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor is seeking a qualified candidate to assist in packaging innovation and quality control. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Commercial and Operations teams on packaging design and overseeing quality testing of materials. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Food Science and possess 1 to 3 years of experience in the food or FMCG industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or a related field is required.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in the food industry or FMCG is needed.
  • Experience with ISO17025 certified testing and instrumentation is preferred.

Overview

F&B Nutrition Sdn. Bhd. – Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor

Assist executive for packaging innovation and renovation projects.

Collaborate with Commercial team, Operations team and Suppliers on product samples and packaging design, feasibility studies, packaging trials and transport tests.

Assists solve packaging problems in production and suggest improvements.

Perform sampling and quality testing of incoming raw and packaging materials.

Conduct in-process monitoring, product sampling and daily sensory evaluation.

Review and verify daily quality control records, test results and procedures to ensure compliance with Food Safety Management System (FSMS).

Follow up on quality KPIs and support compliance with relevant standards and audit requirements.

Assist in investigating quality related issues including customer complaints

Perform other duties assigned by the superior.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Food Science or similar.
  • 1 to 3 years experience in food industry and/or FMCG business.
  • Experience in ISO17025 certified laboratory testing and instrumentation.
  • Good understanding of QA/QC disciplines in food processing plant and/or FMCG manufacturing business, GMP, HACCP, ISO standards.
  • Knowledge in SAP and TQM are advantageous.
  • Innovative and critical thinking along with data analysis and problem solving skills.
