We are global manufacturer of optical inspection, measurement and automated handling equipment. In line with our business expansion, we are seeking a motivated candidate to join us as a QA Manager/Assistant Manager.
The QA Manager/Assistant Manager will be reporting to General Manager of Manufacturing Division.
General Responsibilities
- Quality Management System (QMS) – Establish, implement, and maintain the QMS in compliance with ISO 9001 and customer‑specific requirements. Ensure all quality procedures, inspection standards, and documentation are effectively controlled and updated. Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal audits to verify compliance and effectiveness. Prepare management review reports, analyse quality performance data, and recommend improvement actions. Lead certification and customer audits, ensuring full compliance with audit standards. Strong documentation discipline – ensures proper record keeping, traceability, and audit readiness.
- Product & Process Quality Control – Oversee quality control operations for equipment and assembly processes. Define and enforce inspection and test standards at incoming, in‑process, and final stages.
- Supplier & Customer Quality Management – Manage supplier quality performance, including incoming material inspection, supplier audits, and collaborate with Procurement to qualify and evaluate suppliers. Serve as the main contact for customer quality issues, complaints, and audit coordination. Establish and monitor quality KPIs to measure performance trends and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards related to quality activities. Lead, supervise, and develop QA/QC engineers. Conduct competency assessments and provide training to strengthen technical and quality awareness. Foster teamwork and accountability within the QA Department. Support interdepartmental collaboration to achieve overall operational excellence. Align QA activities with organizational goals and continuous improvement strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/Bachelor Degree in any scientific or Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in equipment automation industry.
- Candidate with knowledge in semiconductor test and inspection application will be added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025 and other relevant quality and environmental standards.
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills to lead, motivate and develop a QA team.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both internally and externally.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally & at all levels within the organization.
- Able to work under pressure, with exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
