Job description

Responsible for establishing, monitoring, and improving the company’s Quality Assurance systems and processes to ensure products and operations consistently meet customer, regulatory and internal company standards. The role leads the QA team, drives a quality-first culture and supports continuous improvement across functions.

1. Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Maintain and update the company’s Quality Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485 or customer requirements).
  • Ensure all quality procedures, SOPs and work instructions are up to date and followed.
  • Support internal and external audits.
2. Quality Assurance & Control
  • Monitor product and process quality throughout incoming, in-process and outgoing stages.
  • Review quality data and key indicators (e.g., defects, rework, complaints).
  • Investigate non-conformities and customer complaints; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
3. Supplier Quality Management
  • Monitor the quality of incoming materials and work closely with suppliers on quality issues.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations/audits and follow up on improvement actions.
  • Identify areas for process improvement to reduce defects, scrap and rework.
  • Lead or support improvement projects using simple problem-solving tools.
5. Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Maintain and control all quality-related documents and records.
6. Reporting & Communication
  • Prepare quality reports for management review.
  • Communicate quality issues and actions with Production, Engineering, and other departments.
  • Lead and guide the QA team in daily activities.
  • Provide training and support to promote a strong quality culture.
