Job summary
A manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant. This role involves assisting with internal and external audits, preparing quality performance reports, and training staff. Candidates should have a technical degree and at least one year of experience in the QAS field, with strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year working experience in QAS related field.
- Able to speak and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Technical understanding of production and supporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist during internal audit or external audit.
- Release incoming materials for production use.
- Prepare Monthly Quality Performance data/report.

Responsibility
- To assist during internal audit or external audit.
- To assist in documentation of IMS, HACCP and Unified Standard.
- To release in-coming materials for production use.
- To prepare standard/defect samples for lab or performance evaluation.
- To investigate cause of non-conformance of product or process and effective closing of corrective and preventive action.
- To conduct necessary training and qualification tests for production staff or contractor.
- To prepare Monthly Quality Performance data/ report.
- To ensure all calibrations of measuring and inspection equipment used in the factory and laboratory are carried out on time.
- To verify laboratory testing results and finished good buy-off result for QA approval.
- Fully comply with Malaysia and company Safety and Health, Environmental and any other applicable law, rules, procedures and instructions.
Requirement
- University or college technical degree.
- Minimum 1 year working experience in QAS related field.
- Experience in handling of customer complaint.
- Able to speak and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
