Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Johor, Malaysia is looking for a QA/QC Supervisor to ensure compliance with ISO standards and lead a team of inspectors. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or at least 2 years of supervisory experience in QA/QC, a strong understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards, and the ability to present to customers. This role requires knowledge of mechanical measuring equipment and statistical process control techniques. Opportunities for local travel to meet customers and suppliers are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in QA/QC supervisory field for non-diploma.
• Sound understanding of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2016.
• Ability to travel for meetings with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal auditing regarding ISO requirements.
• Maintain working relations with departments, customers, and vendors.
• Lead inspectors and ensure compliance.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Ability to perform internal auditing in relates to ISO system requirements.
2. Ability to ensure & maintaining cohesive working relation with inter-department, customers & vendors.
3. Verify & ensure process documentation compliance; Work Instruction, Quality Inspection Plan, Injection Data Sheet & Inspection Records.
4. Able to lead and guide inspectors in ensuring work compliance.
5. Responsive towards resolution of process non-conformance.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma or SPM with at least 2 years in QA/QC supervisory field for non-diploma.
2. Must have sound understanding & knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2016.
3. Must have self-confidence of doing presentation to customers.
4. Must have strong understanding of doing 8D methodology reporting.
5. Must have fundamental knowledge of controlling all ISO documentation.
6. Knowledgeable in using mechanical measuring equipment.
7. Ability to understand and reads 2D drawing.
8. Knowledgeable and able to apply statistical process control techniques.
9. Able to understand First Article Process and Reports.
10. Understanding & knowledge of plastic injection molding process.
11. Must be able to travels and meets customers and suppliers.
