Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Kulim, Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to manage customer queries, lead a QA team, and ensure quality control processes are followed. The ideal candidate has at least a diploma in engineering and 1-2 years of industry experience. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred due to client interactions. This role involves collaborating with various teams for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage customers queries and complaints.
• Ensure containment properly carried out, to prevent outflow of problematic parts to customer.
• Manage RMA and coordinate sample submission to customer.
• Lead 8D discussion meeting and CA effectiveness follow‑up.
• In‑process quality control, NCA follow‑up to prevent reoccurrence.
• Lead a team of QA staff to perform daily routine job function.
• Incoming and in‑process quality control.
• To support for ad‑hoc activities requested by superior.
• Nonconformance and MRB control.
• Responsible for the FAI Report Qualification for any new supplier/new part/tooling change or transfer.
• Work with Operations & Engineering team for continuous improvement.
• Work together with supplier for any NPI parts improvement/changes in the drawing/ correlation on the measurement method and other issue related to the NPI raw parts.

Requirements

• Education Level: Minimum Diploma holder in Engineering.
• Working Experience: Minimum 1‑2 years in the relevant industry.
• Candidates able to speak, read and write Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.
• Skillset: Quality control tools & SPC. 6‑sigma yellow belt is preferred.
