POSITION: PURCHASING SUPERVISOR
Job Description
  • Responsible for the day-to-day purchasing function.
  • Monitor and ensure on-time supplier deliveries, inventory turns, purchase price variance, lead-time reduction, supplier performance and cost analysis.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Work closely with the store, finance, sales & customer service teams to ensure smooth process flow.
  • Review and resolve any discrepancies with supplier invoices, grievances, claims, conflicts, product non-conformance, quality issues, etc.
  • Supervise, guide and develop one purchasing executive.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as and when required by the management.
Job Requirement
  • Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Office Management, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience as a Planner in supply chain management.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently, multi-task and support team members.
  • Responsible, organized, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
