Job Summary

We are seeking a Purchasing Executive / Senior Purchasing Executive to manage and oversee procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, supplier management and cost control. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing, price negotiation, issuance of Purchase Orders, and delivery follow-up.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and reliability.
  • Conduct price comparisons, cost analysis, and regular supplier performance reviews.
  • Coordinate closely with internal departments such as Production, Sales, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure smooth procurement operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and purchasing schedules to prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Handle import purchasing, including coordination of shipping schedules and documentation (if applicable).
  • Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, specifications, and budget requirements.
  • Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery delays, or pricing discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3–6 years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial-related industries.
  • Experience in import purchasing and supplier negotiation will be an added advantage.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office; ERP system experience is preferred.
