Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchasing Junior Executive to join our team at SEFAR FABRICATION (M) SDN BHD. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in our Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient procurement of materials and services for our manufacturing facility located in Taman Perindustrian Tropika, Desa Cemerlang Johor.

Your Role

To responsible for obtaining and managing sources of supply for the products and services for company requires to operate.

To identify suppliers that offer the best service and to set & monitor goals for quality, cost, value and reliability.

To coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to maintain optimal inventory levels while meeting quality, delivery, budget requirements while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements

What you'll be doing

• To source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price terms deliveries and suppliers.
• To responsible in expediting purchasing activities including raw material, consumable and spare parts purchase.
• To ensure reliability, agree on schedules with suppliers and set up communication processes so that both parties are aware of any delays or changes to schedules.
• Good coordination with suppliers and inter departments to ensure on-time delivery.
• To control the freight cost for import shipment and analyse impact of each shipment before request approval to the management.
• To arrange and monitor local/import shipment, custom clearance and any tasks related to custom/e-invoicing.
• Liaise and work together with Planner to ensure raw material align with Fabrication need.
• Liaise and work together with Warehouse and Logistics to ensure deliveries and inventories level in good order.
• To perform any job/functions that may be assign by superior.
• To prepare monthly purchase reports, weekly/monthly purchase order report to management.

What we're looking for

• Must possess at least Diploma, Bachelor Degree or higher, any field.
• Preferably Junior level of Purchasing role in manufacturing industries. Fresh graduate are encourage to apply.
• Required language (s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
• Must be observant, organized, fast learner and computer literate.
• Must be organized, self-motivated and display a positive attitude.
• Willing to learn new things and accept new challenges in organization.
• Ability to understand purchasing activities in manufacturing industries.
• Ability to keep up to date on demand from Sales and ensure material availability to support fabricated and non-fabricated items.
• Able to negotiation to understanding & exploring the needs & aims of the other party in any discussion.
• Team oriented mindset and able to give an effective communication internally and externally.
