A procurement solutions provider in Malaysia seeks a Procurement Officer to source and manage suppliers, ensuring compliance with Malaysian standards and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain, along with at least 3 years of experience in procurement operations. Proficiency in Chinese (spoken and written) is essential for liaising with suppliers in China and Taiwan. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with ERP systems are a plus.
Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, favorable terms, and on-time delivery.
Ensure all purchased materials comply with Malaysian standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and submit applications for:
Track, monitor, and ensure timely renewal of all relevant certificates and licenses.
Maintain accurate documentation and records for all regulatory submissions and approvals.
Liaise with testing laboratories, consultants, and government authorities as required.
Support internal and external audits related to product compliance and import controls.
Create and manage Purchase Orders (PO) and Material Master records.
Coordinate shipment arrangements from PO issuance through delivery to warehouse or site.
