Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Purchasing Manager in implementing daily purchasing operations and acquisition of construction materials
  • Seek reliable suppliers to purchase quality goods at reasonable prices
  • Follow up on order confirmations and ensure prompt deliveries to the sites
  • Liaise with transporters and site personnel for site mobilisation and the demobilisation of equipment
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Certificate in Purchasing & Material Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good negotiation skills
