· Responsible for developing and maintaining a high-quality, cost-effective network of machining suppliers to ensure supply chain stability, reliability, and competitiveness, meeting the company’s evolving business needs.
· Collaborate closely with internal departments (such as R&D, production, and quality) and external suppliers to formulate and execute supplier development strategies, optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and improve supply chain efficiency.
Duties and Tasks:
- Develop supplier evaluation standards and procedures; organize cross‑functional teams to conduct on‑site audits, technical assessments, and commercial negotiations with potential suppliers; and select qualified suppliers that meet company requirements.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain long‑term, stable strategic partnerships with key suppliers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure suppliers can meet the company’s changing needs.
- Procurement Strategy Development: Formulate machining parts procurement strategies based on company objectives and business needs, including supplier selection, cost control, and risk management strategies.
- Price Negotiation and Contract Management: Conduct price negotiations with suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing and payment terms, and oversee the signing, execution, and management of procurement contracts.
- Identify and assess potential risks within the supply chain, such as supplier bankruptcy, raw material price fluctuations, and natural disasters.
- Conduct in‑depth analysis of product cost structures to identify cost drivers and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Develop and implement cost optimization initiatives, such as introducing new processes, materials, or suppliers, to continuously reduce procurement costs.
Educational Background:
- Associate degree or above
Preferred Majors:
- Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
Work Experience:
- Over 5 years of experience in machining procurement or supplier development within the semiconductor or aerospace industries
- Familiarity with machining processes and materials
