Job description

Oversea Lighting & Electric (M) Sdn Bhd – Balakong, Selangor

Liaison with site personnel and inter departments.

Verify purchase requisitions by comparing items requested in the master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives if there is any.

Ensure all approval is obtained prior the issuance of Purchase Order.

Assess Vendor performance based on quality, cost and reliability.

Maintaining positive relationships with Vendors.

Work closely with the Logistic personnel.

Matching of POs and Invoices and obtain the approval for payment.

Prepares and submits operation and site requirements for Material Approval, preparations Manual and similar documentation.

Supports project sites orders, purchases and delivery coordination.

Budget/ Actual Cost report submission based on Projects.

In Charge of Department

Conduct market research and competitive analysis.

Plan engineering teams’ deliverables and the timeline for implementation, with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.

JOBREQUIREMENTS

Candidates must possess at least a Higher Secondary / STPM / “A” Level / Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Diploma Advance/ Higher / Graduate Diploma, any field.

At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Familiar with ERP, SQL System and ISO 9001 will be an added advantage.

Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking suppliers from China.

Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.

Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Good inter-personnel and communication skills across a wide range of people.

Good communication skill with pleasant personality.

Capability on handle paper works.

Good written and oral communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
